What is xCures:

The xCures techonology platform uses artificial intelligence(A.I.) and predictive modeling to identify and rank the most promising treatment options for people with cacner who have exhausted the standard of care.

Overall Goal

Register more stage 4 cancer patients on the A.I. based platform.

Initial Challenge

We initially had trouble finding the proper strategy to implement. We facilitated podcast interviews with stage 4 cancer patients to help their stories go viral on TikTok, Instagram, and Youtube. This did not seem to get the traction we expected.

Change in Focus

We decided to pursue the most popular oncologist on TikTok to help with content distribution: Sanjay Juneja

Dr. Sanjay Juneja is a triple board certified Hematologist & Medical Oncologist serving as Chief of Oncology Service at Baton Rouge General Hospital, and a Founding Medical Partner of Doctorpedia.com where he serves as Chief Medical Officer of the Oncology Channel. Dr. Juneja is a social media educator & medical influencer with 500,000+ followers known as ‘TheOncDoc’, and has been featured by The Washington Post, dozens of national podcasts and regional news channels (PBS, CBS, NBC, NPR), and social media appearances for MTV, PureWow, DailyMail, and Dr. Mike.

Strategy Moving Forward

  • Create podcasts with influential oncology, political, and social media leaders.
  • Send our video team to Sanjay and successfully plan out and execute long-form, monologue content for 2 days

Results

YouTube – We created highly engaging content that was highly shared by medical professionals on many social media platforms as a way to educate patients. This caused the medical professionals to see xCures as a potentially viable recommendation to patients.

Clips we created for LinkedIn, Youtube Shorts, Instagram and Tiktok – We received 100s of thousands of views on cancer content. Crazy! Seeing that the only around 600k people have stage 4 Cancer, this is amazing! People likely saved the content, shared with their friends, and sent the videos to their family members with Cancer.

Overall Result

Patient registration went from 30-50 patients per month to 250-300 patients per month. As you may know, cancer patient data is extremely valuable to pharmaceutical companies for clinical trials. Keep in mind, this took about 1 year with minimal results in the first 3 months.
